Saul Schwartz, a 29-year veteran of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC), is the permanent director of the agency’s Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI). He has been serving in an acting capacity since February 2017. He previously worked in the agency’s legal division specializing in labor and employment law, equal employment opportunity (EEO), diversity and inclusion, and contracting. Previously, Schwartz worked at the Federal Labor Relations Authority from 1984 to 1989, the FDIC said.
