The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is extending the public comment deadlines for three of its requests for information (RFIs) under a call for evidence regarding the bureau’s proper execution of its consumer protection function. The extended deadlines are scheduled for publication Thursday in the Federal Register.
The new deadlines: are
- April 26, regarding the RFI on CFPB investigative demands and associated processes
- May 7, regarding the RFI on rules of practice for adjudication proceedings
- May 14, regarding the RFI on bureau enforcement processes
