Those interested can still send their comments to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Academic Research Council on the bureau’s methodology and direction for consumer finance research.
The council held a public meeting today, but the notice of the meeting was delayed due to administrative issues. CFPB said those who still wish to submit comments can send them to CFPB_AcademicResearchCouncil@cfpb.gov.
The council exists to provide the bureau’s Office of Research technical advice and feedback on research methodologies, data collection strategies, and methods of analysis. It also considers past and future work of the research office and gives input to that office’s research strategic planning process and research agenda.
