First-quarter financial results – including earnings – for federally insured banks and savings associations will be announced May 22, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) said Tuesday.
A briefing will be hosted by FDIC Board Chairman Martin Gruenberg, the agency said, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The briefing will be held at agency headquarters (550 17th St., N.W. Washington, D.C.). In addition to reviewing the first quarter results, the agency said, Gruenberg will also field questions.
A live webcast of the briefing is also planned.
According to FDIC, quarterly results are typically published approximately 55 days after the end of each quarter (i.e., 55 days after March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31).
