Individuals interested in discussing banking industry innovation with representatives of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) are the intended participants in a July 17-19 “Innovation Office Hours” event at the federal banking regulator’s San Francisco office.
“Office Hours are one-on-one meetings with OCC officials to discuss financial technology (fintech), new products or services, partnering with a bank or fintech company, or other matters related to responsible innovation in the federal banking system,” the agency said in a release Thursday. It said each meeting will last no longer than one hour. Those interested should request an Office Hours session by June 1 and include information on why they want the meeting. (The OCC will host its next Innovation Office Hours in Denver in August; more details are slated for release in June.)
