A discussion of “current issues affecting community banking” will be considered by the advisory committee for that segment of the industry to the federal bank deposit insurance agency at a meeting scheduled for July 11.
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) Advisory Committee on Community Banking is planning to get together for the July meeting from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to a notice filed for publication with the Federal Register. The meeting at which the “current issues” are to be discussed is open to the public and will be webcast live via the Internet. The agenda is subject to change, the agency also said.
