Ensuring the continued health and viability of minority depository institutions and other topics of concern are slated for discussion Sept. 18 during an open meeting of the Minority Depository Institutions Advisory Committee (MDIAC) of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), according to a notice slated for publication Friday in the Federal Register.
The meeting is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. ET and will be held at the OCC headquarters office in Washington. Anyone wishing to submit written statements to the panel has until 5 p.m. ET Sept. 11 to do so, in one of two ways: by email to MDIAC@OCC.treas.gov; or by mail to Beverly Cole, Designated Federal Officer, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, 400 7th Street, SW, Washington, DC 20219.
Those wishing to attend the meeting should notify OCC, also by 5 p.m. ET Sept. 11, via email at MDIAC@OCC.treas.gov or by telephone at (202) 649- 6862. Attendees should provide their full name, email address, and organization, if any. There is a security screening to enter the building, and government-issued ID is required. Those who are hearing-impaired should call (202) 649-5597 (TTY) by 5 p.m. ET on Sept. 11 to arrange auxiliary aids.
