Fiscal 2019 grant proposals, a budget proposal and the strategic plan of the federal body overseeing state appraisal programs are on the agenda for the panel’s open meeting Wednesday in Washington.
The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) Appraisal Subcommitee (ASC) is scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Federal Reserve Board’s Washington offices. Among the “action and discussion” items are two grant proposals for the Appraisal Foundation, a not-for-profit organization focused on the advancement of the appraisal (valuation) profession. Grants for the foundation’s Appraisal Qualifications Board and Appraisal Standards Board are under review.
The subcommittee is also slated to also consider its budget proposal for the 2019 fiscal year and strategic plan for the fiscal years 2019 to 2023. Minutes of past open meetings (April 23, May 9 and June 8) are also on the agenda.
