Three more personnel actions were revealed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) Tuesday – actions taken earlier this summer – as the agency’s chairman bolstered her staff.
In a release, the FDIC said that:
- In July, Brandon Milhorn was named chief of staff for McWilliams, joining the agency from Raytheon Company, where he was the acting vice president of Government Relations. Before that, he served in several positions in the Senate, including staff director and chief counsel for Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) on the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, and as general counsel for the Select Committee on Intelligence. Before joining the Senate, Milhorn held several positions in the Office of General Counsel at the Central Intelligence Agency.
- In June, Chad R. Davis was named deputy to the chairman for external affairs, joining the agency from the Federal Reserve Board, where he served as assistant congressional liaison since 2016. Before that, he was a senior professional staff member for the Senate Banking Committee; he has also served as legislative assistant to Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) and Rep. E. Clay Shaw (R-Fla.).
- Also in July, Travis Hill was named as senior advisor to the chairman. Formerly senior counsel for the Senate Banking Committee, he served before that as policy analyst for Regions Financial Corporation.
