A “Community Affairs Webinar” on expanding access to safe transaction accounts to help meet the needs of unbanked and underbanked households is scheduled from 2-3 p.m. ET Oct. 31 by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC).
Speakers are from First Commonwealth Bank, Old National Bank and FDIC. The program will focus on promoting access and use of low-cost, insured transaction and savings accounts “designed to build banking relationships that will meet the needs of unbanked and underbanked households,” according to an FDIC Financial Institution Letter issued Wednesday.
