The federal body that oversees state real estate appraisal programs published information Wednesday on the data and fees states need to collect to place appraisal management companies (AMCs) on the national AMC Registry, which opened last July.
The information is in a four-page document published online by the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council’s (FFIEC) Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC). The document provides examples on listing AMCs on the registry in conjunction with a state’s renewal process and upon state registration of a new AMC. Examples are provided for varying and static registration periods.
