A meeting of the federal consumer financial protection agency’s Academic Research Council (ARC) is scheduled for May 10, the agency said in a filing with the Federal Register Wednesday.
The ARC advises the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) on strategic research planning and its research agenda overall, and it provides technical advice on the cost of actions by the regulator.
In the Register filing, the CFPB said the agenda for the 10:30 a.m. to noon meeting will focus on methodology and direction for consumer finance research at the bureau.
