Workshops on compliance and operational risk for directors of national banks and federal savings associations will be held July 30-31 in Boston, the institutions’ federal regulator said Thursday.
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) said the workshops, to be held at the OCC Boston field office, cost $99 and are limited to the first 25 registrants.
The July 30 compliance risk event will look at major issues facing a compliance risk management program. Among them: the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Flood Disaster Protection Act, Fair Lending, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and others. The July 31 operational risk workshop covers governance, third-party risk, vendor management, internal fraud and cybersecurity (among other things).
