Financial technology (fintech) and other means of innovating in the banking sector are the focus of an Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) “Innovation Office Hours” scheduled Oct. 28 in Las Vegas, the agency announced Monday.
The Oct. 28 Office Hours will be conducted at The Venetian during the Money20/20 conference in Las Vegas, the OCC said.
Office Hours are one-on-one meetings – no more than one hour each in length – with the OCC’s Office of Innovation staff. The meetings can focus on fintech, new products or services, partnering with a bank or fintech company, or other matters related to “responsible innovation in the federal banking system,” the agency said in a release.
Those interested in a meeting should submit their request by Oct. 18 and provide information on why they want to meet with the OCC.
