Banking industry financial results for the quarter ending Sept. 30, 2019, are slated for release at 10:30 a.m. next Tuesday by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC), according to information on the agency’s website. This release is usually carried out in conjunction with a press conference featuring FDIC Board Chairman Jelena McWilliams (none has been listed yet for Tuesday). The FDIC says it publishes quarterly banking financial results – the Quarterly Banking Profile (QBP), covering commercial banks and savings institutions with FDIC deposit insurance – approximately 55 days after the end of each quarter. The last release, for the second quarter (ending June 30), was on Sept. 5.
