Evaluations of compliance with the anti-redlining Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) are slated for 152 federally chartered banking institutions throughout 39 states during the first and second quarters of 2020, according to a scheduled released Tuesday.
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), in releasing the schedule, also encouraged public comment on the national banks and federal savings associations slated for evaluation.
“Public comments should be submitted to the institutions themselves at the mailing addresses listed on the schedule or to the appropriate OCC supervisory office prior to the month in which the evaluation is scheduled,” the agency said. “However, the OCC will consider all public comments received prior to the close of the CRA evaluation.”
