Workshops for directors of national banks and federal savings associations (FSAs) will be held March 3 and 4 on credit and operational risks, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) announced Monday.
The two workshops, in New Orleans, are limited to the first 35 registrants, the agency said.
The Credit Risk workshop on March 3 focuses on credit risk within the loan portfolio, such as identifying trends and recognizing problems, the OCC said. Also to be covered: the roles of the board and management, how to stay informed of changes in credit risk, and how to effect change.
The Operational Risk workshop on March 4 focuses on the key components of operational risk (people, processes, and systems). Also to be covered: governance, third-party risk, vendor management, and cybersecurity.
The workshop fee is $99 and open to directors of national community banks and FSAs supervised by the OCC.
