Receiverships of four banks that were closed in 2009 and 2015 were terminated Feb. 1 by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC), the agency said in a notice slated for publication Monday in the Federal Register.
The terminated receiverships include First State Bank, Sarasota, Fla., Community National Bank of Sarasota County, Venice, Fla., and ebank, Atlanta, Ga.,(all three closed in August 2009, with all deposits assumed by Stearns Bank, National Association, St. Cloud, Minn.); and Capitol City Bank and Trust Company, Atlanta, Ga. (closed in February 2015, all deposits assumed by First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company, Raleigh, N.C.).
