The Senate Banking Committee has postponed its oversight hearing, previously scheduled for March 24, featuring Comptroller of the Currency Joseph P. Otting as the sole witness.
The hearing was to focus on activities at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and was expected to include discussion on matters such as proposed revisions to Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) rules, which Otting continued to promote in a recent “tour” of Memphis.
The committee issued no general announcement but simply marked the hearing as “postponed” in its online schedule.
