Updates to the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) lending programs, including the Paycheck Protection Program implemented under the CARES Act, will be provided during a conference call slated for 3 p.m. ET next Tuesday, the federal credit union regulator said in an announcement Friday to supervised institutions.
The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), in its announcement of the SBA-hosted call, noted that the SBA recently made several updates to the PPP loan program, including a streamlined loan forgiveness application and updated FAQs. The application period for the PPP loan program was also extended until Aug. 8.
The NCUA said registration for the call is open now and that the number of participants will be limited. It said registrants will receive an email containing a personalized access link and will be able to join the July 14 call starting at 2:30 p.m.
