Topics important to the mutual savings association industry will be on the agenda for a June 29 virtual public meeting of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s (OCC) Mutual Savings Association Advisory Committee (MSAAC), the agency said in a notice.
The meeting, to begin at 9 a.m. ET, is being held so the MSAAC may advise the OCC on regulatory or other changes the agency may make to ensure the health and viability of mutual savings associations, according to the notice.
The OCC notice says that members of the public may submit written statements to the council. Statements must be received no later than 5 p.m. ET on June 24 and should be emailed to MSAAC@occ.treas.gov.
For information on how to participate in the meeting, members of the public should contact the OCC by 5 p.m. ET, also on June 24, by email at MSAAC@OCC.treas.gov or by telephone at (202) 649-5420. If hearing impaired, call (202) 649-5597 (TTY) – by the same deadline – to arrange auxiliary aids for this meeting.
