Data files for determining compliance with anti-redlining laws and rules, and for determining fulfillment with mortgage lending reporting rules, are now available, the federal financial institutions’ umbrella group said Wednesday.
In separate releases, the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) said that 2021 census flat files, and the 2021 FFIEC median family income report, are now available. The FFIEC census data are used to create the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and the anti-redlining Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) aggregate and disclosure reports, the FFIEC noted.
According to the exam council, the files offer a convenient method of accessing and analyzing the HMDA and CRA data.
