An update on the agency’s technological innovation activities is among the agenda items slated for the Nov. 3 virtual open meeting of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) Advisory Committee on Community Banking, according to the published agenda.
The agenda, posted on the FDIC website, shows that the panel will hear opening remarks from FDIC Chairman Jelena McWilliams and closing remarks from Board Member Martin Gruenberg. Other topics will include local banking conditions; an update from the Minority Depository Institutions Subcommittee; community bank research; and information technology supervision.
The Nov. 3 meeting, accessible via webcast, is set to run from 1-5 p.m. Eastern.
