The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) Minority Depository Institutions (MDI) Subcommittee to the Advisory Committee on Community Banking will hold a virtual open meeting Tuesday, the agency said in an announcement Friday.
The agenda for the meeting, set to take place one day before the community banking panel meets, will include a public discussion of the challenges and opportunities facing panel members’ communities and financial institutions. In a closed portion, the agency said, the panel will provide feedback on the FDIC’s strategies to preserve and promote MDIs, including a dialogue with the FDIC’s Chief Innovation Officer; an update on the Mission-Driven Bank Fund; and an update on other MDI program initiatives.
The meeting is set for 1 p.m. Eastern.
