Five of the booklets contained in the Comptroller’s Licensing Manual that explain related policies and procedures of the national banking regulator are revised and available now, the agency announced Friday.
The revised booklets are titled “Background Investigations,” “Capital and Dividends,” “Charters,” “Conversions to Federal Charter,” and “National Bank Director Waivers,” the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) said in Bulletin 2021-60.
The OCC said the revised booklets, which replace booklets of the same title issued between April 2017 and October 2019, reflect recent updates to 12 CFR 5 (on rules, policies and procedures for corporate activities) and other regulations; remove references to outdated guidance and provide current references; and make other minor modifications and corrections.
