The group that advises the national bank and thrift regulator on issues important to mutual savings associations (MSAs) is scheduled to meet publicly at 8:30 a.m. Eastern on April 19, according to a notice slated for publication Tuesday in the Federal Register.
The aim of the meeting of the Mutual Savings Association Advisory Committee (MSAAC) is to advise the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) on “regulatory or other changes the agency may make to ensure the health and viability of mutual savings associations,” according to the notice. The agenda will include a discussion of current topics of interest to the industry, the agency said.
