A public meeting of the agency’s Advisory Committee on Community Banking is slated for May 3 and will be viewable by webcast only, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC).
The meeting, its announcement slated to appear in Thursday’s Federal Register, “will provide advice and recommendations on a broad range of policy issues that have particular impact on small community banks throughout the United States and the local communities they serve,” the agency said.
The notice says current issues affecting community banking will be discussed, with any agenda changes to be announced the day of the meeting. The meeting is set to run from 1 – 5 p.m.
