The federal fund that insures savings at credit unions will be the topic of a report for the board of the financial institutions’ federal regulator – and the only item on the agenda – when the board meets next week, the agency said late Thursday.
The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Board is scheduled to meet for its regular monthly meeting Thursday at 10 a.m. ET to hear the report on the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), the fund that insures credit union members’ savings. The report will review the performance of the fund during the first quarter of the year, according to the notice posted on the agency’s website.
The meeting is open to the public via live webcast only; see the agency’s website for details on accessing the webcast link.
