The four groups that advise the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) on the bureau’s policy agenda and matters affecting consumers, consumer banks and credit unions are set to hold virtual public meetings from May 16-19, according to recent notices.
- On May 16, the Consumer Advisory Board (CAB) will meet from about 1:45-3:30 p.m. Eastern to discuss broad policy matters related to the CFPB’s Unified Regulatory Agenda and general scope of authority.
- On May 17, the Community Bank Advisory Council (CBAC) and the Credit Union Advisory Council (CUAC) will meet together from about 1-2:30 p.m. Eastern, also to discuss broad policy matters related to the CFPB’s Unified Regulatory Agenda and general scope of authority.
- On May 19, the Academic Research Council (ARC) will meet from about 1- 3:15 p.m. Eastern to discuss broad policy matters related to the bureau’s research agenda and general scope of authority.
