Two workshops covering credit risk and operational risk and targeted to national bank and federal savings association directors are scheduled July 18-19 in Minneapolis by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
The OCC, in a release Monday, said “the Credit Risk: Recognizing and Responding to Risk” workshop, slated July 18, covers the roles of the board and management, credit risk within the loan portfolio, and how to stay informed of changes in credit risk. The July 19 workshop, “Operational Risk: Navigating Rapid Changes,” covers key risk management processes, oversight roles and governance responsibilities, fraud, risk-based audit programs, third-party vendor oversight, establishing a strong ethical culture, and regulatory expectations to address cyber threats, the OCC said.
The OCC said the workshop fee is $99, with course materials, supervisory materials, and lunch to be provided to participants.
