Mark your 2024 calendars for meetings of the Federal Reserve’s interest rate-setting committee, which can be done now that the agency has released the official schedule of the confabs for next year. (It also includes the first meeting for 2025, as a bonus.)
According to the Fed, here’s the 2023 schedule for the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC):
- Jan. 30-31 (Tuesday-Wednesday)
- March 19-20 (Tuesday-Wednesday)
- April 30-May 1 (Tuesday-Wednesday)
- June 11-12 (Tuesday-Wednesday)
- July 30-31 (Tuesday-Wednesday)
- Sept. 17-18 (Tuesday-Wednesday)
- Nov. 6-7 (Wednesday-Thursday)
- Dec. 17-18 (Tuesday-Wednesday)
- Jan. 28-29, 2025 (Tuesday-Wednesday)
