State-based trade groups and the federal credit union regulator will team up for a webinar later this month to discuss “strategic partnering” between the two, the agency announced Wednesday.
In a release, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) said the Aug. 24 webinar (held with four state-based trade associations, also known as “state leagues,” representing 14 states) will include “conversation with NCUA representatives and discuss several issues, including how the NCUA and leagues can collaborate, the top concerns of credit unions, and the resources available to support them.”
NCUA said the state groups participating will be the MD/DC Credit Union Association (representing Maryland and the District of Columbia), GoWest Credit Union Association (representing Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming), Illinois Credit Union League, and Cornerstone League (representing Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas).
The webinar, titled “Strategic Partnering: A Conversation with Credit Union Leagues,” gets underway at 2 p.m. and runs for 60 minutes, the agency said.
