Public meetings of the three councils that advise the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) on its responsibilities under federal consumer financial protection laws are slated for Nov. 14, 15, and 16, according to notices published Tuesday.
The meetings, according to the Federal Register notices, will be held virtually, and members of the public will receive agenda and dial-in information when they RSVP. The schedule, according to the notices, is as follows:
- Consumer Advisory Board (CAB), from about 1-3:30 p.m. Eastern on Nov. 14 (Tuesday).
- Community Bank Advisory Council (CBAC), from about 1-3 p.m. Eastern on Nov. 15 (Wednesday).
- Credit Union Advisory Council (CUAC), from about 1-3 p.m. Eastern on Nov. 16 (Thursday).
The meetings will address broad policy matters related to the CFPB’s Unified Regulatory Agenda and general scope of authority, the bureau said in its notices. All three will be held virtually; members of the public will receive the agenda and dial-in information when they RSVP.
The notices provide instructions on how to RSVP and submit comments in advance of the meetings.
