A pair of keynote speakers for the 2023 Financial Stability Conference set for Nov. 16-17 in Cleveland have been announced, the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) of Cleveland and the Treasury’s Office of Financial Research (OFR) said Thursday.
According to the two agencies, Randall S. Kroszner, the Norman R. Bobins Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and Jeremy Stein, the Moise Y. Safra Professor of Economics at Harvard University, will offer the keynote addresses.
The 2023 conference is titled “Financial Stability in Times of Macroeconomic Uncertainty.” Its location is the Cleveland FRB.
Panelists at the conference, according to the two agencies, will discuss risks to financial stability from a range of sources including uninsured deposits, the commercial real estate market, and climate risk exposures of insurers.
Virtual attendance is open throughout the conference, OFR and the Cleveland FRB said.
