General research matters for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) will be discussed in public Dec. 1 by the agency’s Academic Research Council (ARC), according to a notice in Friday’s Federal Register and on the agency’s website.
The CFPB council advises the bureau on its strategic research planning process and research agenda, among other things. The full Dec. 1 meeting agenda is online here, with “making ends meet” and “medical debt” the two topics noted. The meeting is set to run from 1-3:15 p.m. Eastern.
