A nine-page annual report on the agency ombudsman’s core programs and feedback from credit unions on examinations was released Wednesday by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), via an “express” email.
The 2023 annual report looks at the NCUA Ombudsman Office’s standards of practice and conditions under which someone should contact the office. It also provides summary data on the office’s dispute resolution program, case management and data analysis program, and stakeholder engagement and outreach program.
It said the office last year fielded 79 information requests, resolved 449 inquiries, and conducted four independent reviews. “Lessons learned include the need for proactive and collaborative engagement and leveraging survey analytics,” the agency said.
