Fed releases audited 2024 financial statements covering board, banks, more

Financial statements for 2024 about the Federal Reserve System – covering the 12 Federal Reserve Banks, the agency board, and one limited liability company (LLC) (consolidated with the Boston bank) – were released Friday by the Fed.

The agency said the accounting firm KPMG of Washington, D.C., issued unqualified opinions, asserting that the firm’s audit found no material misstatements in accordance with applicable auditing standards.

The Fed said the audited individual and combined statements cover the 12 Federal Reserve Banks, the board, and the Main Street Lending Program (MSLP) operated by the Boston bank. That LLC was developed as part of the Fed’s response to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. The audited statements provide information about assets, liabilities, and operations as of Dec. 31, 2024.
